HYC-Silicone HY-916 is a high-performance two-component room temperature vulcanizing (RTV-2) pad printing silicone with 30 Shore A hardness, specially designed for glass industry pad printing applications. This product is formulated with high-quality raw materials and advanced production technology, delivering excellent ink transfer, low shrinkage, and high rebound properties that ensure consistent print quality even after thousands of print cycles.

Pad printing is an essential decoration method for glass products such as bottles, cosmetic glassware, drinking glasses, and ceramic items. The silicone pad is the core component of the pad printing process — its material quality directly determines print clarity, detail reproduction, and production efficiency. HY-916 series pad printing silicone undergoes strict quality control for every batch, ensuring stable and reliable performance for large-scale production.

Key advantages of HY-916 include excellent ink transfer performance that delivers crisp, clear impressions every time; good tear resistance strength that extends pad service life and reduces replacement frequency; solvent resistant formulation that withstands aggressive inks and cleaning agents; food safe FDA grade options available for food contact applications; and low shrinkage rate after curing that maintains precise dimensional accuracy of the pad shape.

Technical specifications: hardness 30 Shore A, viscosity 10000 cps, tear strength ≥15 kN/m, tensile strength ≥5.5 MPa, elongation at break ≥400%, shrinkage ≤0.2%, temperature range -60°C to 200°C, pot life 30-60 minutes at 25°C, cure time 2-4 hours at room temperature, mixing ratio 1:1 or 10:1, color white or translucent (customizable).

This silicone is widely used in glass manufacturing for printing on glass bottles, cosmetic containers, drinking glasses, perfume bottles, and pharmaceutical glassware. It is also suitable for electronics, ceramics, toys, promotional products, and packaging industries. Whether you need fine text and patterns or large area solid color printing, HY-916 delivers clear, vibrant, and consistent results.

To use: prepare the pad mold and ensure it is clean and dry; weigh Part A and Part B according to the specified mixing ratio; stir thoroughly for 2-3 minutes until uniform; degas under vacuum for 3-5 minutes to remove air bubbles; pour the mixed silicone slowly into the mold; wait for complete curing at room temperature or accelerate with gentle heat; demold carefully and trim excess material from edges; install the pad onto the pad printing machine and conduct test prints before full production.

Packaging options: 5kg per can, 20kg per drum, 200kg per drum. Minimum order quantity is 2kg. Shelf life is 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
